Canine adenovirus CAV2 Ag diagnostic test
CAV-2 causes respiratory disease in dogs and is one of infectious agents commonly associated with canine infectious tracheobronchitis also known as "kennel cough".
Infectious canine tracheobronchitis is usually spread by direct contact with another sick dog, via inhalation or droplets.
Dogs that are around other dogs, as in shelters, kennels, dog hotels, etc., are more likely to get infected. Every dog can get sick, even on a walk, if a contact with an infected dog occurs. The disease develops very quickly, so it must not be taken lightly.
Test execution guidelines:
The test uses the lateral flow immunochromatographic assay method. After application, the sample travels along the membrane to the test area, thus creating a visible line.
The kit contains:
1. Redtest cassette
2. Test solution in a bottle
3. Swab
4. User manual
Test kits should be stored at room temperature (2-30 degrees C). Do not freeze, protect against direct sunlight.
