Medi-Test Combi 10® VET urine test strips
Small domestic animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. can be screened for urinary tract disorders and diseases. This can be done by using cystocentesis, i.e. collecting a urine sample by puncturing the bladder. Such an examination is often sufficient to make a preliminary diagnosis. Urine should be assessed by macroscopic methods: urine output, colour, transparency and odour. The use of Medi-Test Combi 10® VET test strips allows for a quick, semi-quantitative urine test and determination of the presence of blood, urobilinogen, bilirubin, protein, nitrites, ketones, sugar, leukocytes, as well as pH and specific gravity.
