Root elevators:
• Flohr root elevator
Flohr lateral sharp root elevator can be bent in two directions: to the right or to the left. It is used to remove single roots of lower multi-rooted teeth, with one root removed and a thin or absent interradicular septum (mesial root on the right, distal root on the left).

• Bein root elevator, rounded tip
Bein blunt root elevator is used for forcing roots out from the alveolus as well as for dislocating teeth with widely spaced roots and for removing single roots. The elevator is finished with a rounded working tip. The tips are available in three sizes: 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm.

• Bein root elevator, straight tip
Blunt root elevator with a 3 mm wide straight working tip. It is used for extracting the roots from the alveoli and for dislocating teeth with widely spaced roots, as well as for removing single roots.
