SMI Surgicryl monofilament reverse cutting needle, PDO, 12 sachets
Surgicryl Monofilament is a synthetic, monofilament suture with a long tissue support period. Due to the use of polidioxanon to create surgical threads, they gain greater flexibility and pliancy which makes them convenient to use during treatments.
Properties and Features:
Surgicryl Monofilament SMI PDO surgical threads have a longer period of total suture mass absorption, which lasts from 180 to 210 days. 42 days after the procedure the tissue supporting force is 50% of the initial force. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials to create the thread, it allows for high and long-term resistance to stretching etc. The additional durable and smooth surface of the suture facilitates suturing or reduces the effect of cutting tissues. The use of special materials also allows to achieve perfect, high flexibility and elasticity of the suture and makes it easier to move or bind.
