The set of dyes is intended for the differential staining of hematological smears and various clinical specimens in in-vitro diagnostics. Rapid staining, which lasts about 15 seconds, reacts alkaline or acid, staining cell components in a different colour. Dyeing method depends on factors such as: dye content, amount of buffer substances, pH, fixation or dyeing time. Due to the combination of acid and alkaline dyes, it is suitable primarily for staining blood smears, but also cytological and histological preparations. The presence of acid and basic dyes in separate solutions allows you to freely modify their mutual ratio by changing the number of dips of the slide in individual solutions.
The set contains:
• fixer solution, based on methanol;
• staining solution I - acid dye in a buffer solution, preserved with sodium azide;
• staining solution II - a set of alkaline dyes in a buffer solution, preserved with sodium azide;
The set consists of three packs of 100 ml or 500 ml.
