B Braun Safil violett with a reverse cutting needle, 36 sachets
Safil is a synthetic, braided and coated suture with an average tissue support period. Thanks to the use of polyglycolic acid, it is characterized by high durability and non-invasiveness during the procedures. Due to its characteristics, Safil Violett works best in closing soft tissues.
Properties and Features:
The force of tissue support decreases depending on the period of time after the procedure which is divided as follows:
• Initial -60-70% after 14 days
• Medium -24-42% after 21 days
• Late - 25-19% after 28 days
The full absorption of the suture mass takes between 60 and 90 days. Threads from B. Braun are characterized by a very high resistance to stretching, which makes suturing itself much less invasive and less problematic. Safil is also distinguished by the properties that ensure the safety of the knot. Thanks to the use of appropriate production techniques and materials, surgical threads have a highly smooth surface which facilitates the suturing and does not expose the tissue to being cut - this makes the procedure much less invasive.
