Surgical Monosyn threads, violet

Monosyn absorbable sutures are synthetic, monofilament threads with a medium absorption period. They are made of high-quality gliconate, thanks to which they have a much less invasive and problematic passage through the tissue and they reduce tissue traumatization. The threads guarantee high-quality knot security. Mainly recommended for soft tissue fixation.

The letter indicates the number of pieces in the package. The letters with which the catalog number begins mean C = 36 items, G = 12 items, respectively.

Properties and Features:
• The strength of supporting the tissues after 13-14 days after suturing is 50% of initial strength
• It takes approximately 60 to 90 days for the sutures to be fully absorbed in what is called a hydrolysis process
• Higher initial tensile strength
• Suture degradation profile is ideal for soft tissues (recommended)
• Excellent flexibility which makes the sutures easier to handle and to tie
